Les Deux Alpes
Les Deux Alpes is popular with groups of young skiers as it has lively nightlife. Set in the region of Dauphine in the Southern Alps it is the second oldest resort in France behind Chamonix. With a lift pass of around £160 and the opportunity of a day skiing in Alpe d’Huez included it is an excellent choice for a ski holiday. It also offers more affordable accommodation in comparison to other French ski resorts.
Skiing in Les Deux Alpes
For beginners there are nursery slopes at the base of the village and on the glacier. Once confident there are also a large number of long blues.
For intermediates there isn’t a large number of reds (around the same number as blacks), which is fine if you are confident to tackle some of the blacks but otherwise you may get a little bored of the red runs.
