Skiing in Les Arcs

Linked to La Plagne, Les Arcs offers 425km of runs, 470 snow cannons and 141 lifts.

For the advanced skier, Les Arcs is home to Europe’s biggest 2000m vertical drop on the black run Aiguille Rouge, which suits the advanced skier.  If this isn’t enough the advanced skier can try the challenging moguls of Dou de l’Homme.  Also try the 200 person Vanoise Lift to La Plagne, which offers the opportunity to try the off piste through the Nancriox forest.  The ski passes aren’t cheap however, costing £182 for a local (just Les Arcs) and £218 for the area pass which includes La Plagne.  Floodlight skiing is available in 1800, 2000 and 1600.

There is a snowboard park for boarders and also more natural jumps in the Clocheret area.

How to save money in Les Arcs

Stay in Bour-St-Maurice and take the Funicular to Arc 1600 everyday. This only takes 7 minutes and is free to lift pass holders.
