Flaine

A popular family resort with a short transfer time from Geneva airport and traffic free centre.  In the centre of the ‘Grand Massiff’ ski area with access to over 250km, this varied ski area is an excellent choice for a ski holiday.

Skiing in Flaine

Flaine is brilliant for Beginners with lots of nursery slopes near the village centre. If you’re a real beginner there’s some free ski lifts to get you started. Intermediates and experts will also be catered for too though, with an extensive lift system and exciting pistes to tackle.There’s tough black runs, off piste moguls and some wooded black runs.

Après ski and Nightlfie

Flaine isn’t known for it’s lively après ski scene, with most activities mostly concentrated in the hotels and restaurants. There is a great selection of restaurants though, La Perdrix Noire is good with a great family menu, Chez Daniel for fondue, and ‘La Cascade’ located on the piste for Savoyard evenings

Keeping the family entertained

Aside from the snow, there’s ice-skating, ice-driving circuit, snowshoeing, skidoos, helicopter tours, paragliding, climbing wall, (all in Flaine), and a indoor swimming pool in Les Carroz.
