Ellmau
Ellmau is part of Austria’s largest ski area; Ski Welt, which offers 279km of skiing and consists of the villages of Ellmau, Scheffau, Söll and Itter. Ellmau offers shops, bars and lively apres ski.
The Slopes
Ellmau is located in the Tyrol region of Austria in the Kaisergebirge alps. Ellmau is a great option for families due to its gentle conditions and vast ski area that means that the slopes rarely get crowded, which is great for younger skiers.
Despite not being the biggest resort in all of Austra, Ellmau still offers a great range of slopes and there is a large amount of Blue slopes and modern ski lifts, which really make it easy for those one their first skiing holiday.
Apres Ski
Ellmau Alm is situated very close to the beginner slopes; it has good après ski with live music. There’s late night dancing at the Otzi bar in the resort centre which has a disco or live music and organises dancing and special events.
