Pas de la Casa

Pas de La Casa is the young and lively ski resort of Andorra. It is the highest resort in Andorra with an excellent snow record. It’s not particularly pretty, but you wouldn’t go here for that – simply cheap lively nightlife and a large ski area.

On the Piste

Part of the Grandvalira, staying in Pas De La Casa provides access to 193km of pistes across Grau Roig, Soldeu and El Tarter.  More advanced than other resorts in Andorra, Pas De La Casa ofers high altitude skiing and great off piste in Grau Roig down to Soldeu village on the Llebre or Avet runs. There is also a snowboard park for snowboarders.

Eating and drinking out in Pas de La Casa

Food and drink is generally cheap in Andorra, and a typical 3 course meal costs around 18 Euros.  There is only 4% tax on spirits so adding wine and alcohol to your meal is very cheap.  For quick snacks off the slopes Asterix Bar Restaurant, Llac Negre, Restaurant Envalira are all recommended – there is also a McDonalds on the main strip.

For apres ski in Pas, head to the KSB restaurant or El Tupi in the Plaza dels Vaquers where most bar crawls start, there are plenty of bars in this square to then get yourself round.  On your pub crawl make sure you check out Amadeus disco pub, Habana Club Latin disco and Underground for dance music. El Mexicano in Bearne Street and Billboard in the basement of the Condor Hotel are very busy and good to hit later on in the night.  British and Irish pubs are located at Avalanche (Himalaia Hotel) Crack (Christina Hotel) or Milwaokee in Bearn Street.
