Andorra
Andorra has two main ski areas, Grandvalira and Vallnord. The Grandvalira area contains the resorts of Soldeu/El Tartar and the lively Pas de la Casa. Vallnord’s main resort is Arinsal, which is suitable for families and beginners. If you’re on a budget then Andorra is the places for, particularly if you like duty free alcohol!

Which resort?
A big advantage of staying in the Grandvalira is that they are all linked together via an efficient lift system, offering 193km of pistes on the full area lift pass. Pas de le Casa is a lively resort, which suits younger skiers looking for lively nightlife with groups of friends. Arinsal is a family resort with very good ski school so would make an ideal family holiday, where nightlife and adventurous skiing is not the main aim.
Overall Andorra is the ideal beginner resort for families and anyone up to intermediate level, hoping to gain confidence and also experience the lively après ski in Pas. Crystal Ski offer free lift passes for children under 11, and first time ski passes, which at around £50 more include a lift pass, boot hire and five 3 hour ski lessons.
Soldeu - a great all round resort for all abilities, with some of the best accommodation in Andorra.
Pas de La Casa – access to the whole Grandvalira with very lively nightlife and après ski.
Arinsal – family and beginner resort.
